Makitel designs and manufactures high-performance autotransformers engineered for highly efficient voltage regulation and grid decoupling across medium-voltage networks. Unlike conventional isolation transformers, these units utilize a single, continuous winding shared between the primary and secondary circuits.

This optimized electromagnetic configuration allows Makitel to construct autotransformers that are significantly smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective than standard dual-winding units of the same power rating, while delivering substantially lower internal losses and superior voltage regulation.

Manufactured at our facility ,Makitel autotransformers are built to withstand severe grid transients and short-circuit forces. They can be engineered to seamlessly bridge varying voltage levels (such as 10 kV, 20 kV, or 35 kV systems) and can be configured with on-load tap changers (OLTC) or off-circuit tap changers (OCTC) for dynamic voltage control.

By combining advanced core geometries with premium insulation matrices, Makitel delivers robust, highly efficient autotransformers that maximize grid reliability for substations, industrial hubs, and renewable energy integrations worldwide. Also low-voltage autotransformers are big part of our program.
